Ingrid is currently a Product Manager for the Continuing Education segment of IEEE Educational Activities. She began her career at IEEE as a Meeting Planner in Meetings, Conferences, and Events and organized conferences for the IEEE Photonics Society. Ingrid has a unique blend of product and project management skills with a proven track record in leading cross-functional teams within IEEE Educational Activities to provide high-quality continuing education for engineers and technology professionals. Strategic thinking, problem-solving, and a commitment to service align with Ingrid’s passion for creating solutions that meet learners’ and business goals. Ingrid strives to uphold IEEE’s mission and to make a positive impact in the Engineering and Technology community. Ingrid is a member of Project Management Institute (PMI) and is a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP).
Jennifer McClain
Jennifer is currently a Senior Manager for Educational Products at IEEE Educational Activities. She began her career at IEEE as the staff Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions on Plasma Science and IEEE Transactions on Magnetics. She spent eight years with the IEEE Standards Association editing standards, aiding working groups with the standards development process, and as the Managing Editor of the IEEE Standards Information Network, publishing handbooks and guides to help with the implementation and understanding of standards. Now with IEEE Educational Activities, she managed the IEEE Standards Education Program before transitioning to product development where she is creating and managing Continuing and Professional Education Products, including eLearning courses, and overseeing the IEEE Credentialing Program. Jennifer holds a B.A. with History and English Majors from Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo, MI, and attended the Masters of Education in Social Studies program at West Chester University, West Chester, PA, obtaining a Pennsylvania Secondary Education Teaching Certificate in Social Studies.
Tara McNally
Tara is the Educational Services Sr Program Manager at IEEE Communications Society. She brings over 20 years of leadership experience in education programs and management to her current role at IEEE. Her primary focus is on cultivating and overseeing programs spanning from Pre-University STEM education to offerings for university students and practicing professionals. With a strong commitment to enhancing participant engagement and satisfaction, Tara has significantly expanded and improved the ComSoc Training Program’s courses over the years. She is deeply passionate about providing high-quality resources to empower others in achieving their educational and professional development goals. Tara's dedication aligns closely with IEEE's mission to foster technological innovation and excellence for the benefit of humanity, which she seamlessly integrates into her work.
