Interconnection Test and Verification in IEEE Std 1547-2018

  • Online

This course begins by reviewing the interconnection testing and verification requirements included in the IEEE 1547 standard. Topics covered include the reference point of applicability, which is a critical decision that needs to be made before verification, as well as the types of conformance that have been done, and those two will determine the verification process.  Learners will also go through the process itself, and define each of the test methods that are discussed.  And finally learners will see a brief summary of IEEE 1547.1, which is currently being developed as a separate working group.

What you will learn:

  • Identify types of test and evaluation
  • Describe high-level test and verification process
