Search Results
If you have a list of results but still don't see what you need, use
the filter options to refine your search results. These may include:
- Categories: If learning items have been grouped
by category, a list of content categories represented in your search
results displays. Select a category to update your results so only
content associated with that category displays. Note:
Each content item included in your search results displays a list
of associated categories below its title.
- Content Type: A checkbox displays for each type
of learning content (e.g., classroom course, document, certification,
etc.) represented in your search results. Select a checkbox to update
your search results so only the selected content type displays.
- Rating: Stars indicate how highly a learning item
has been rated by those who have attempted or completed it. Select
a rating to update your search results so only content with that specific
rating (or higher) displays. Note:
Select the Clear Filter link
to remove your rating selection.
- Course Provider: If your training catalog includes
learning items offered by more than one course provider, a checkbox
displays for each course provider represented in your search results.
Select a checkbox to only see content offered by that specific course
provider.
Once you have found your desired learning item, select the title of
the item to view additional information about it.
Notes:
- The number next to each filter option indicates how many content
items in your search results are associated with that option. For
example "Online (2)" indicates there are two online courses
represented in your search results.
- You may apply more than one filter at a time, but your search results
update after every selection.
Remove Filters
Selected filters display at the top of your search results. Remove a
filter by selecting the icon next to its name or by deselecting it on
the left side of the page.
Select the Clear All link at
the top of the page to remove all selected filters.
View Available Content Only
If some items in your search results are being revised, they are listed
as "temporarily unavailable." Select the checkbox at the top
of your results to only view available content. If you select the checkbox
a second time (removing the checkmark), your complete list of search results
displays.
Languages
The Public Catalog may include items available in other languages. When
you conduct searches, your results automatically include items available
in the system's default language and your browser's default language,
if it differs. Note: Items in the browser's
default language only display if the language is supported by the system
and there are items available for that language.
The list of languages represented in your search results displays below
the filter options on the left side of the page. Select the Change
link to update the languages included in your search. When you save your
selections, the page automatically updates.
Classroom Course Sections
If a classroom course is included in your search results, use the Sections button to display the five
course sections with the earliest starting dates. Information for each
section includes:
- The section's title.
- Its scheduled date and time.
- Any associated costs, if applicable.
- The section's format (i.e., in-person, virtual, blended).
- The location of the section or any associated events.
- The section's status (e.g., open for enrollment).
- Whether there are seats available. Note:
When the number of seats drops to five or below, a message indicates
there are only a few seats left in the section.
Select the All Sections link
to navigate to a course's details page for a list of all course sections.
Course Section Costs
Course sections can be priced individually, and the associated price
may vary from section to section. When you enroll in a course section,
you only pay the cost associated with that section.
