Battery Design Principles
There is a great deal of interest in batteries today, particularly in lithium-ion batteries. This course is one of five in a series developed by Robert Spotnitz, President of Battery Design, LLC. In this second course Dr. Spotnitz provides a detailed overview of battery design principles and considers electrical behavior, different cell geometries and designs, and thermal behavior. He also addresses battery management systems.
What you will learn:
- Explain battery design principles
- Describe various electrical behavior
- Discuss different cell geometries and designs
