Introduction to Humanitarian Technology and Technology for Social Impact
Humanitarian Technology (HT) harnesses engineering and design to create solutions that improve quality of life while promoting sustainability, equity, and local empowerment. This module introduces the foundations of HT and its role in advancing technology for social impact. Learners will explore key principles, the connection between HT and global development goals, and the importance of sustainability across social, environmental, and economic dimensions. The module also introduces the design phases of technology-for-impact projects.
